Library materials can be returned at two interior locations when the library is open. A book return slot is located on the south side of the Adult Department check out desk, and the west side of the Children's check-out desk. It is recommended cassettes and magazines be returned when the library is open and placed on check out desk counters instead of through the return slots to minimize damage to the items.
When the library is closed, the library materials return slot is open at the west Oak Street entrance to Newton Public Library.
