Library supervisors are available at this Adult Department desk to help library users find answers to their questions and guide them in researching topics. The Information/Reference Desk area includes basic reference materials and access to computer databases, including the Internet and BOOKS IN PRINT. The library supervisors will search for information on the Internet when the library user's query can not be answered through the Newton Public Library collection.
Information/Reference Desk staff will provide telephone reference service.
