For the August meeting of the Fourth Tuesday Photography Club, Jim Griggs presents "Care and Feeding of the Wide Angle Lens."
This is a hybrid program. Join us in person at Newton Public Library; sign up to join remotely via Zoom Webinars; or head to the NPL Facebook page at the time of the event for a livestream. Jim will be with us in person.
Jim is a retired semi-professional photographer based out of McPherson, Kansas. His photography has been featured in numerous publications, websites, books, newspapers and other venues. He prides himself on making the mundane exciting and bringing awareness to the natural world and the pressures it is under from development. He has been an instructor at Wilderness Photography Workshop since 1985 and has taught at annual, week-long events in Wyoming. He also leads photo outings to his favorite place in Kansas, Maxwell Wildlife Refuge, and has led photographic trips overseas to Tanzania, the Galapagos Islands and Peru.
