Wichita photographer and graphic designer Tasha Wentling will present "Hotel Tempus: Worldbuilding Through Photography." Hotel Tempus celebrates the bizarre, providing refuge for even the strangest and most sinister beings in the universe. Wentling's photographic exhibition explores topics such as escapism, fear, and the uncanny while documenting strange happenings around a fictitious hotel for time travelers.
This program will be held in-person at Newton Public Library. Participants can also register to join via Zoom, or head to the NPL Facebook page at the time of the event to view a livestream.
About Tasha Wentling:
Inspired by aesthetically pleasing horror films, Tasha Wentling uses digital photography to create cinematic stills and immersive experiences through design. Tasha graduated in 2019 from Wichita State University with her BFA in graphic design and currently works as a full-time graphic designer for an advertising agency in Wichita.
