Library’s fall book sale is Sept. 30-Oct. 2!

It’s our biggest sale in more than two years: Newton Public Library’s Fall Book Sale will include thousands of used books, audiobooks and DVDs, donated by community members or withdrawn to make room for new library materials!

The event runs Thursday, Sept. 30 through Saturday, Oct. 2:

Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM: Fill a Bag/Box Day!

The items for sale will include adult fiction, adult nonfiction, large print books, young adult (YA) books, children’s books, DVDs, magazines, board games and jigsaw puzzles, plus miscellaneous items such as craft supplies. Of special interest for car and truck enthusiasts, the library is selling its large collection of automotive manuals.

Donations of books and DVDs are still gratefully accepted. Now is the perfect time to donate! All proceeds from the sale will support library programs and special events.

Take a behind-the-scenes peek at some of the items that will be on sale starting Thursday morning. We’re still setting up, so this is just the tip of the iceberg!
